Installation Guide
Mount It Clean.
Use It Correctly.
General installation guidance for VORTIXLA workshop organization products, mounting accessories, and functional printed parts.
Always confirm fit and mounting surface before use. Before Installing
Dry fit the product before making holes or applying load. Confirm that the tool, battery, accessory, or part seats correctly and that there is enough clearance for daily use.
- Inspect the product for shipping damage before installing.
- Confirm the part is facing the correct direction.
- Check nearby doors, shelves, drawers, chargers, handles, and cords.
- Keep moving parts, heat sources, and high-impact areas in mind.
Mounting Surface
The correct mounting method depends on the surface. A fastener that works in solid wood may not be suitable for drywall, pegboard, sheet metal, or hollow panels.
- For studs or solid wood, use properly sized wood screws.
- For drywall, use anchors rated for the intended load.
- For pegboard or panels, use compatible hardware and avoid overloading.
- For benches or shelves, confirm screw length will not break through the finished side.
Hardware Notes
Unless a product page or order specifically states that hardware is included, assume mounting hardware is not included. Use hardware that fits the mounting holes without forcing, cracking, or deforming the printed part.
Do not overtighten. Printed parts should be secured firmly, but excessive torque can damage the part or distort the mounting area.
Safe Use
VORTIXLA products are designed for organized workshop use, not for climbing, lifting people, hanging excessive weight, vehicle recovery, safety restraint, or any life-safety application.
- Do not exceed the intended use of the product.
- Do not mount above people, vehicles, fragile objects, or high-traffic areas without proper support.
- Recheck fasteners periodically, especially in active shops or garages.
- Stop using the part if it cracks, loosens, warps, or shows damage.
